The 74th Annual OCA Christmas Gala

On Saturday, November 29, 2025, OCA Chair Ken Crawford and his wife Trish, invite all member firms to join them as the Ottawa Construction Association proudly presents its 74th Annual Christmas Gala, an evening of timeless sophistication held within the resplendent Ballroom of the Fairmont Château Laurier.

A tradition spanning decades, the Gala has become synonymous with grace, grandeur, and holiday celebration.  OCA is redefining the experience, curating an evening that exudes first-class luxury at every turn. From exquisite dining and fine wines to sophisticated décor and impeccable service, every detail has been refined to create a truly world-class black-tie affair.

Guests will be captivated by the unmatched energy and artistry of Rob D’Urbano and the Sway Band, setting the stage for an unforgettable night of dancing and celebration. 

For 2025, the Gala has been reimagined with a grand expansion. By reserving the Ballroom, Laurier Room, and Drawing Room, OCA offers guests an ambiance of spacious elegance, ensuring a seamless evening of mingling, entertainment, and indulgence. The enhanced setting will feature not only an elevated pre-dinner reception but also lavish post-dinner experiences including an exquisite memory-making 360° photo booth and a portrait booth.

An Evening of Elegance

5:00 PM – Welcome Reception
Begin the night with a refined welcome reception in the Drawing Room, just outside the grand Ballroom. Enjoy sparkling conversation and holiday cheer in a setting of timeless sophistication.

6:15 PM – Opening & Dinner
The evening formally begins with opening remarks, followed by a first-class fine dining experience. Indulge in an exquisite multi-course menu paired with carefully curated wines, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable night ahead.

9:00 PM – 1:00 AM – The Celebration Unfolds
As dinner concludes, the evening transforms into a celebration of glamour and festivity:

• Step onto the dance floor in the magnificent Ballroom, brought to life by the incomparable Rob D’Urbano and the Sway Band, returning to enchant and inspire an evening of nonstop music and dance.

• Capture the magic of the night with both our 360° photo booth and an elegant portrait-style booth, ensuring every dazzling moment is remembered.

No matter where the night takes you— on the dance floor, or celebrating with friends—you will be immersed in an atmosphere of luxury, celebration, and holiday splendour.
