Description

In nearly 1 in 13 (8%) of the opioid toxicity deaths across Ontario between July 2017 to the end of 2020, “Construction worker” was the occupation identified. In this one hour, we will highlight why men in the trades are more affected by overdoses and substance related harms, and how shifting our understanding of the problem can decrease stigma and increase opportunities for support.
