On Saturday, November 28th, 2026, OCA Chair Dan Leduc and his wife, Paula, cordially invite all member firms to join them as the Ottawa Construction Association presents its 75th Annual Christmas Gala in the magnificent Ballroom of the Fairmont Château Laurier.

This milestone celebration honours a tradition spanning decades—one defined by elegance, festive spirit, and the pleasure of gathering together. To mark this special anniversary, OCA is creating an evening worthy of the occasion, with first-class luxury woven into every detail. Exquisite cuisine, exceptional wines, sophisticated décor, and impeccable service will come together in a world-class black-tie affair that celebrates both a distinguished legacy and the magic of the holiday season.

The incomparable Rob D’Urbano and the Sway Band will bring their signature energy and artistry to the evening, providing a spectacular soundtrack for a memorable night of dancing and celebration.

For this anniversary edition, the Gala will unfold across the Ballroom, Laurier Room, and Drawing Room, offering an expansive setting of effortless elegance. This beautifully appointed collection of spaces will allow guests to mingle, dine, and celebrate in comfort, with an elevated pre-dinner reception and lavish post-dinner experiences. A captivating 360° photo booth and an elegant portrait booth will capture the joy and glamour of this landmark occasion.

An Evening of Elegance

5:00 PM – Welcome Reception

The evening begins with a gracious welcome reception in the Drawing Room, just outside the grand Ballroom. Enjoy lively conversation, warm company, and holiday cheer in a setting whose timeless beauty sets the stage for the celebration to come.

6:15 PM – Opening & Dinner

Opening remarks will formally welcome guests to this special anniversary evening, followed by an exceptional fine dining experience. Savour an exquisite multi-course menu complemented by carefully selected wines, with every course adding to the pleasure and anticipation of the night ahead.

9:00 PM – 1:00 AM – The Celebration Unfolds

As dinner draws to a close, the festivities continue with music, dancing, and memorable moments:

• Take to the dance floor in the magnificent Ballroom as Rob D’Urbano and the Sway Band return to fill the room with their unmistakable energy, inviting guests to enjoy an evening of nonstop music and dance.

• Capture the occasion in our 360° photo booth and elegant portrait-style booth, creating keepsakes of a truly special anniversary celebration.
